About me

I am a psychodynamic therapist working with clients in the UK (online) and Copenhagen (face to face and online) where I now live after living in London for a decade. My approach is empathetic, flexible and respectful. I have a particular research interest in issues affecting LGBTQIA+ people, spirituality, religion and complex trauma.

I have previously worked as a therapist with teenagers in a school and with adults at a low cost service. Before studying psychotherapy, I worked for a decade in the charity and public sector talking daily to people during their moments of struggle, crisis and grief. This work illuminated for me the severe lack of long-term mental health support available and encouraged me to learn how to better equip myself to help others. After experiencing the benefits of long term therapy as a client, I decided to retrain as a therapist.

I am sometimes joined in online sessions by my cat Albie.
